How much does a pet sitter cost in the Philippines?

There is no single price for pet sitting. Rates depend on where you live, how long you need someone and what your pet needs. Here is how to think about it, and how to see real prices for your area.

Hourly or daily?

On PurrfectBuddy every sitter sets two optional rates:

  • Per hour for short visits: feeding, a walk, a check-in while you are at work.
  • Per day for longer care: overnight stays, weekends and trips.

When you post a request you choose hourly or daily, and only sitters who offer that rate can wave at it. Your total is the rate multiplied by the hours or days, so you see the full price before you confirm.

What changes the price

  • Location. Sitters in busy business districts often charge more than those in quieter neighbourhoods.
  • Number of pets. Two dogs take more work than one cat.
  • Size and needs. Large or very active dogs, puppies, seniors and pets on medication need more time and experience.
  • Services. A quick feeding visit costs less than overnight care or grooming.
  • Holidays. Expect more demand around Christmas, New Year and Holy Week, so book early.

Prices change, so instead of guessing, check the average rates of active sitters in your city. Each city page shows what sitters near you charge right now:

How payment works

You can pay your sitter with GCash. The amount is agreed in the booking before the sitting starts, so there are no surprises.

Getting good value

The cheapest sitter is not always the best deal. Compare reviews, reputation and experience with your kind of pet, then chat before you book. A sitter who sends updates and follows your routine is worth a little more.

Post a request and let nearby sitters come to you.
